Appointment And Resignation Of Chief Financial Officer

Further to the announcement on 16 August 2011 of the resignation of Mr. Lawrence Yeo as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO"), the Board of Directors of Food Empire Holdings Limited (the "Company") wish to announce that Mr. Fong Choon Seng has been appointed as the new CFO with effect from 12 September 2011 and Mr. Lawrence Yeo's last day of service with the Company is on 9 November 2011.

Please refer to the separate announcement on 10 September 2011 made pursuant to Rule 704(7) of the SGX Listing Manual in relation to the appointment of Mr. Fong as the new CFO.
