Bonus Issue Of 88,173,999 New Ordinary Shares ("Bonus Shares") In The Capital Of Food Empire Holdings Limited ("Company") On The Basis Of One (1) Bonus Share Credited As Fully Paid For Every Five (5) Existing Shares Held By The Shareholders Of The Company ("Bonus Issue")

The Directors of the Company are pleased to announce that the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited ("SGX-ST") has today confirmed that the Bonus Shares will be listed and quoted on the SGX-ST, and trading in the Bonus Shares shall commence at the opening of business at 12 June 2008 on 9:00 a.m.
