Clarification To The Full Year Financial Results For The Year Ended 31 December 2007 Relating To The Book Closure Dates

Further to the full year financial results announcement for the year ended 31 December 2007 (the "Results") of Food Empire Holdings Limited (the "Company") which was released on 27 February 2008, the Company wishes to clarify that to determine the entitlements to the final dividend of 1.9 Singapore cents (one-tier tax exempt), the transfer books and register of members of the Company will be closed on 14 May 2008 for the preparation of dividend warrants.

Registrable transfers received by the Company's Registrar, Boardroom Corporate & Advisory Services Pte. Ltd. of 3 Church Street #08-01, Samsung Hub, Singapore 049483 by 5.00 p.m. on 13 May 2008 will be registered before entitlements to the dividend are determined.
