Results For Annual General Meeting And Extraordinary General Meeting

The Board of Directors of Food Empire Holdings Limited ("The Company") are pleased to announce that at the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") and Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") of the Company held on 29 April 2008, all resolutions relating to matters set out in the Notices of the AGM and EGM were duly passed.

Mr Lew Syn Pau who is re-elected as a Director of the Company will remain as a member of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Nominating and Remuneration Committees and will be considered independent for the purposes of Rule 704(8) of the Listing Manual of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.
